Shown here is a set of contemporary styled fireplace tools made out of steel and bronze.
Ron Mann is a designer from Sonoma California. His client wanted a window covering for this particular window. The rest of the house has no curtains or blinds. Ron wanted the metal to look like ‘crumpled paper’ that had been pulled back out again. The rose shape was cut so that someone inside can still look out.
This African door is displayed on a minimal steel frame. It was designed to showcase the door, not the frame. Even so, the frame was built to complement the rustic look of the door.
This is a piece that was commissioned by a winery to be displayed in their private tasting room. Forged steel grapes, grape leaves, and vines surrounds the bronze insignia.
