The posts were designed with a graceful curve and taper in order to soften the look of the shiny metal railing. The posts on each corner of the deck had to be fabricated with a completely different radius so that the cables and posts would give the illusion that everything lined up perfectly.
At a Mill Valley residence, the customer wanted a graceful, high tech look that would contrast the rustic look of the house. The arched stainless steel posts and cables gave the owner the look he wanted.
